About Tulligmore Equestrian Centre

Norma Dennehy is a qualified British Horse Society Instuctor to BHSAI standard. She holds a current and up to date occupational first aid certificate and child protection certificate. She is also a primary school teacher with 12 years teaching experience both in mainstream and working with children with special needs. B.Ed Nt (Hons.)

Norma has competed in showjumping since childhood and was on the winning Mounted Games Team in the R.D.S in her youth. She still competes in hunter trials and has the occasional day out hunting.

Vivienne Bird is a British Horse Society Instructor to BHSII Standard. She has vast experience teaching all levels of children and adults. Viv specializes in giving private lessons and one to one horse & rider improvement classes.

Damien is an accomplished rider, representing Ireland in Mounted Games. He has showjumped ,hunter trialled and hunted extensively in his youth. He is an engineer by trade and has a valuable input in the centre as Centre Manager putting his engineering expertise in many areas.

We have part time instuctors who are all qualified with the British Horse Society. All hold current first aid certificates and are A.I.R.E approved and inspected.
